Privacy Policy

Fairweather is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. We don't run analytics, we don't use tracking SDKs, and we don't sell anything about you. Here is exactly what happens.

Location

Fairweather uses your location only while you are using the app, to fetch the forecast for where you are. Your location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit to retrieve weather data. The patterns Fairweather learns about your days stay on your device — they are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Calendar & Reminders

If you grant access, Fairweather reads your calendar to show the weather alongside your appointments, and can create reminders for you. This happens entirely on your device. We never see, store, or transmit your events or reminders.

Weather data

Weather forecasts come from Apple WeatherKit. Apple's handling of the location sent with weather requests is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements — that is, to know whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a purchase identifier from Apple, never your name, email, or payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

No third-party tracking

Fairweather contains no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to sell.

Children

Fairweather is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
